A couple of offices operate in the region, and low income people in need of assistance from Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, and surrounding communities may apply for assistance. A diverse range of services is offered, including so called Basic Needs Services. This includes emergency free food, fuel, rent, gas bill, mortgage, and utility assistance, among other resources.
