ESL and GED Classes

Services:
Free ESL and GED courses. Other programs also available through TRA such as ACHIEVE, Young Parents, Youth Build and Career Pathways course. Programs are guided to help Worcester residents improve language skills, obtain a GED (equivalent to a high school diploma) among other services.

Registration:
Registration is on-going.
Must call to schedule an intake (interview and testing) or to request information on the other services available through TRA. Most services are for those 16 and older, with the exception of Young Parents.
ACHIEVE
Services:
Serves out-of-school youth between the ages of 16 and 21, assisting with Adult Basic Education/GED preparation and more.
Young Parents:
Services:
Offers pregnant and parenting out-of-school youth, aged 14-21, who have not achieved a high school diploma with a variety of educational and life skills training.
Youth Build
Services:
Provides low-income, out-of-school youth, aged 16-24 with on-the-job, hands on construction skills training and GED preparation.
Career Pathways Course
Services:
Offered Monday – Thursday for ESOL students who want to improve their English, work on their job skills and find a career in Manufacturing
