Pearl Shelter

Our year-round shelter for adults provide housing, meals, showers, toiletries, and clothing for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Admission to, and continuing to stay at the shelter, is based on guests’ ability to remain safe and to assure the safety of others. Though sobriety is not required, guests may not use alcohol or drugs in the shelter, other than medications that have been prescribed for them.

All guests share in cooking, cleaning, and other household tasks during their stay at the shelter. They may also be working on increasing their income via job searches and/or applying for entitlements; on housing searches/housing applications; beginning a new job or going back to school; and on connecting with needed rehabilitative, medical, counseling, recovery, or other services. Onsite shelter staff often connect guests to case management and other support offered through our Resource Center.
