Comprehensive Community Action Program (CCAP)

The community action agency for Cranston and surrounding towns. CCAP is one of Rhode Island’s largest anti-poverty organizations, providing a wide spectrum of services “designed to help those in immediate need and empower [anyone] desiring to become more self-sufficient.” Services include adult education and job training, GED classes, health care (medical/dental clinics), behavioral health services, housing assistance, food pantry, heating assistance, childcare, WIC, senior services, and more. (Formerly incarcerated individuals are welcomed to access these services.)
