Program providing safe shelter and daily nutritional meals to 20 homeless persons
in the City of Fall River daily. Case Management services provide at the Inn connect guests to housing, employment, entitlements, behavioral health, and an array of other services. These services, provided in a safe, comfortable environment, help homeless persons become housed in stable, permanent housing. Guests become engaged in all supportive services needed and as a result, successfully transition into the community and experience housing stability and an improved quality of life.
Admission Criteria
• 18 years of age or older
• Homeless in the City of Fall River
• Willing to submit to search upon entry
• Must meet HUD’s income guidelines
• Willing to authorize a CORI check, CORI report must be without warrants
• Medically and psychologically stabilized
Services
• Food and nutritional assistance
• Safe and secure sleeping environment
• Comprehensive case management
• Housing placement assistance
• Psycho-educational groups
• Assistance with applications to income resources
• Crisis intervention
• 12 step meetings, and other AA/NA recovery related activities
• Residential substance abuse treatment access
• Outpatient substance abuse treatment access
• Coordination of emergency and long term psychiatric care
• Referrals to community-based collateral services, educational opportunities,
medical care, domestic violence and other forms of supportive services
• Discharge and aftercare planning
