The Center Sees Tremendous Increase in Need for Food

Our food pantry has seen a steady increase as the economy falls deeper and deeper. As people are losing their jobs, parents are beginning to feel the pain of not having enough money to feed their children or pay their rent/mortgage.

We have seen an increase in singles needing our service as well. Times are tough and if you are in need of food and are from the Franklin County area, please come to the pantry for assistance.

Hours of Operation

• Food Pantry: 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
• Thrift Store: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Saturday

How to Receive Services

To sign up for services please stop by the food pantry and we will help you complete a client application. Please bring some form of identification if possible - it does not have to be government issue.  We also allow you to have someone else pick-up the food for you (a proxy).

Food is also available through Pop-up Pantries in coordination with some local Senior Centers to ensure we meet the needs of seniors with limited mobility:

South County Pop-up Pantry - 2nd Wednesday of each month

Bernardston Pop-up Pantry - Last Wednesdy of each month

Emergency Food is available anytime the Thrift Store is open.
