Northern Berkshire Adult Education Program

Description

The mission of Northern Berkshire Adult Education (NBAE) is to assist the residents of Berkshire County in achieving their academic and career goals. All of our programs and services are free of charge. Our students receive advising services with a focus on goal setting, problem-solving barriers to success, and ensuring all students are enrolled in the correct classes.

In addition, for those interested in earning their HSE Diploma, program staff assist students in creating an account to sign up for the HiSET test and provide ongoing practice and feedback to guide students in the preparation process. NBAE has openings for In-Person and Online Remote Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED Preparation, Individualized Tutoring, College & Career Readiness, Digital & Financial Literacy, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). We offer morning, afternoon, evening, and remote class options. Prepare to take and pass your GED tests or your TOEFL test and get ready to enroll in post-secondary education or career development.

Location note: The entrance to our program is on the Porter Street side of the Armory building. It is the first door on the right side of the building.
