Services
The Dept. of Veterans Services for the City of Worcester provides cash assistance to pay for basic needs such as food, shelter, clothing, housing supplies, and medical care. It also refers veterans to other organizations that can deal with long-term needs, such as housing and cash assistance for ordinary and fuel allowances for everyday living expenses such as food, rent, electric, etc.
The Dept. of Veterans Services for the City of Worcester also provides provide all encompassing medical coverage such as prescriptions, hospitals, doctors, dentist, eyeglasses and payment of existing hospital insurance and additional referrals to other sources of possible income such as the United States.
