Acute Treatment Services (ATS)

ATS programs are medically monitored detoxification services. Programs provide 24-hour nursing care, under the consultation of a medical director, to monitor an individual's withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs and alleviate symptoms. Eligibility and Priority Populations: Individuals, 18 years and older, who are at risk for acute withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. High-risk priority populations include injection drug users, homeless individuals, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic medical diagnoses. It is customary that the client must contact a detox program directly and ask if they have open beds. Beds will open each day, so it is important to continue to call or check online with individual agencies.
